Call for evidence

As part of our behaviour and mental health in schools’ inquiry, we are launching a call for evidence to gather insight and evidence to best inform our work. In particular, we are looking for evidence relating to the links between mental health and behaviour, the impact of school behaviour policies on mental health and wellbeing, and best practice examples and the effectiveness of current approaches.

The call for evidence will be open for 5 weeks and will close on Friday 24th June 2022.

How to take part

We have three surveys open: a survey for professionals and practitioners, a survey for parents and carers and a survey for young people. Please follow the below links to take you to the relevant survey.

You can respond as an individual or on behalf of an organisation. Please can we ask that you do not include any personal information related to yourself or anyone else except where it is explicitly requested.

We would love to hear your views and feedback! We will use the information shared via the surveys as evidence in our inquiry.

If you have any questions about the call for evidence, or if you would like to submit your evidence via another route if the survey is not accessible, then please contact Charlotte Rainer, Coalition Lead, at charlotte.rainer@cypmhc.org.uk.
