Anti-Racism

The Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition stand by our hosts’ the Centre for Mental Health and their commitment to anti-racism in taking an anti-racist approach in every aspect of our work. We will work alongside them to help eradicate racism and ensure respect and equity for all the children, young people and families we work to support.

You can read the Centre’s anti-racism statement here: Centre for Mental Health: Anti-racism statement

We also commit to using the Centre’s principles when talking about race and ethnicity, which you can read here: Centre for Mental Health: Guide to race and ethnicity terminology

@MaddiCrease also performed her brilliant poem - re-diagnosing myself - to highlight the experiences of young people with multiple diagnoses. #TaleOf3Cities pic.twitter.com/0MfioJu5g7
